- It is a matter of concern for the police to trace and prosecute the culprit to prevent this illegal activity from continuing so contact police immediately.
- Send back any fines or correspondence to the issuing authorities along with any documentary evidence you have to defend your case.
- Always keep your logbook in a safe place to prove your ownership in case of emergency.
- Write to the driver and vehicle licensing agency of your area so they can record your correspondence on the vehicle record for future reference.
